These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Air Castapplication ("App") and the website at aircast.universaltv.app, provided by Universal Remote("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing or using the App or Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App you represent that you are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Air Cast is a mobile application that lets you mirror your iPhone or iPad screen and cast photos, videos and audio to compatible smart TVs over a local WiFi network using AirPlay 2, Google Cast, DLNA, and brand-native protocols. Air Cast does not relay, host or stream content through our servers — streams flow directly from your device to your TV.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Free Tier

The App offers a free tier with core casting capability and time-limited mirror sessions. Free-tier features may change at our discretion.

3.2 Premium Subscriptions

Premium features are available via auto-renewable subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase. Plan duration, price and trial details are shown in the App at the point of purchase.

3.3 Billing

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the end of any free trial.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Air Cast.
Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App to mirror or cast content you do not have the right to display, including DRM-protected content where the rights holder has prohibited external display
Use the App to control or cast to devices you do not own or do not have authorization to use
Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from the App
Use the App to violate any law, infringe any right, or transmit harmful, defamatory or unlawful content
Interfere with or disrupt our infrastructure or service providers

5. Intellectual Property

The App, Website, and all associated content (excluding user content) are owned by Universal Remote and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use.

6. Third-Party Content

Air Cast sends content from your device or the open internet to your TV. We are not responsible for the legality, accuracy, or availability of third-party content displayed through casting. Some streaming services intentionally block external display of their content via DRM — that restriction is set by the rights holder and is not a defect of the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every TV model, or that defects will be corrected.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Universal Remote SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits) continue to apply.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to your country of residence to the extent required by mandatory consumer protection law, and otherwise by the laws of general application of the Universal Remote jurisdiction.
